Global warming has become a problem we have learned

Well it's Christmas time and in my mind's another big concern

 

What will happen to Santa Claus when the North Pole thaws

 

He might have to close down and sell before it's too late

As the glaciers melt, the pressure's felt on where to relocate

In a warmer place they could take a break but the orders never stop

If they pick a spot that gets too hot, the elves would work in sweat shops

Even worse, he might lay off the elves and reindeer too

So he could downsize to a high-rise office with a view

But this corporate look and modern hook may no longer inspire

Consider the worst case of all, Santa may retire
